Flat Fighter

The year is 2003. You had a long day at school, and you head to Newgrounds to see what cool indie games are being made. 

You see Coma (Now Neversong) 

Super Meat Boy 

Some odd game about a bug licking a lollipop 

Then Flat Fighters...

It's like if Super Smash Bros was made...really minimally. 

Flat Fighters is taking a step away from high end graphics. Dev Diaries. Social Media. To invoke a simpler nostalgic time. When a game was whatever one person with an idea wanted it to be. 

I have no idea what will come of it, but, below are some gifs if you're curious what's present as of writing!

Jump + Double Jump flip

Variable height

Dash, dash, dash

Acrobatics

Directional based attacks

Shield block + break/stun/cooldown

Get them on the offence, blitz

Dash and be hard to hit

Dance around and punch from the sides

Use the map to gain higher ground

Kung Fu Kick your enemy!

Crouching Cube, hidden jagged (edge of the rectangle...bad pun)

Be a bully! Go go go!
